Writing a food blog can be a tremendous amount of fun. And, the readers are delightful. Gosh, I had a blast writing about sweet potato leaves, gluten free biscotti, the joys of bacon, and life with a toddler. But there's only so much time before the toddler becomes a boy. The seasons are too short if we don't pay attention to the fleeting moments that make them unique.
Thank you all for a wonderful time. That's all folks.

Just fit us in when you're inspired! Enjoy having fun with your boy!
Hi there you have a lovely blog.

Let me know if you would like to exchange links.
Thanks Jeena :-)
We will miss you, but enjoy life's other pleasures and come back when you can!
All the best,
Jess
Best of luck Brendon. I've enjoyed reading your blog...very much.
Hey Brendon!! I clicked on my bookmark of your gluten-free bread recipe, but it's gone! I looked in the Google cache but I can't find it there, either. :( Are you going to be publishing it, or is there some other way I can get ahold of it? I would really appreciate it. Thanks so much! Monica :)
Brendon - Thank you for so many wonderful recipes. I wish you and your family have a lot of fun and joy together.

Oh no! I just today discovered your wonderful blog! Talk about bad timing on my part. I will have to be content with reading through the archives.
Thanks, and enjoy the time with your son.

Hey Brendon,
I'm sorry to say farewell... Hope to see you around!
I was wondering, though- what happened to the archives of all your posts? It's so sad that everything seems to have vanished... Was that deliberate or did something happen to the server?
Best,

Catherine - Thanks! Yes, he's at a really interesting age. Lots of energy and imagination.
Jeena - Thanks! Keep up the GF blogging.
Jess - Thanks! Maybe I'll come back someday, but it won't be for a while.
Melly - Thanks!
Monica - Yes, all the recipes and posts are gone--from the web. I'm collecting recipes in hopes that someday, I'll publish them as a cookbook. Another reason why I took them down is that I didn't hav e the energy to respond to all of the requests for advice and clarification of recipes while they were still posted. But it seemed too rude just to ignore the emails and posted questions. Send me an email and I'll forward the recipe to you if you like.
Sheltie Girl - Thanks!
She reads - Oh, it's never too late to cook gluten free. There are now numerous other great GF food blogs for your cooking & reading pleasure. I highly recommend Gluten Free Girl as a start. She also has an extensive collection of links to other GF blogs.
Sea - The mantle for GF recipes has been handed to you. (For all of you who don't know, Sea writes a really fantastic gluten free blog.) I'll be around--especially if you come back to Davis for a meal. Let me know if you're ever in the area.
Hi, I'm 'tagging' you for a MeMe. I hope you'll play along. I've noted some people keep to a food theme and some do not.

Oh no! I found your recipes incredibly inspirational but have had a long dry spell on cooking. I just returned to look at them and was dismayed to find them gone. However I have almost twenty bookmarked -- far too many to ask for.
Is it possible that I could get a notification when your book comes out? (And I very much hope you will write it.) I'm rather hopeless at gluten free baking in particular, and because I also have a corn allergy, it makes it even more difficult to modify recipes. Your recipes seemed excellent straight up, even though I'm not very good at baking.
